Seven things people don't know about me...

I was tagged to write seven things that people don’t know about me. Believe it or not to me this seems like a difficult assignment because I’ve always thought of myself as an open book. There’s not much out there that people don’t already know about me. Also, there’s really not anything all that interesting or unique about myself (this is by design).

These are not in any particular order...

1 – I am now a Country Western fan. Mela has brought me over to the dark side. Many have tried and only she has succeeded in getting me hooked on country western music. My favorites are Rodney Atkins, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Lonestar, Trace Atkins, Big & Rich, Kenny Chesney, Little Big Town, Little Texas... There are a bunch more. I don’t like the twangy stuff. To me most new country western music today is what rock music was 20 years ago. The Eagles of the 70s would be considered Country Western today. It’s also fun to discover something new that you really like. There is noting left for me to discover in rock music.

2 – I have an extensive collection of Kim Possible episodes in my iTunes. I have a thing for redheads, what can I say?

3 – I have a zit on my left butt cheek. (TMI?)

4 – I’m not a big Bush supporter. I am as conservative as the day is long. I consider myself a Reagan Conservative. I don’t consider Bush to be a Reagan Conservative.

5 – I have never blessed the bread.

6 – I only pretend to be an extrovert, I’m really in introvert. This may sound odd but I really am a loner. I really only hang out with my wife. I have no desire to be part of any “in” crowd. I don’t like large crowds or loud parties. I will not compete for attention. I know this is in contrast with my public speaking and outward social skills.

7 – I don’t like to memorize anything. I made it through my entire mission without memorizing a single scripture. I believe memorization is the lowest form of understanding.
